I’m a girl from the suburbs who married a farmer, and I think life’s an adventure filled with a lot of happiness and a little bit of heartache that turns into joy in light of the cross.
A couple of things you can be sure to find here:
- sub-par iPhone pictures
- self-deprecating humor
- overtly mushy-gushy love for my boo
- run-on sentences because they sound better and I love them and I have no grammar rules here because I have grammar rules in my real world job
- an obnoxious quota of references to my alma mater (go hokies)
- inconsistent blogging schedule
- unoriginal recipes
But mostly:
- unashamed proclamation of my King Jesus
Holly, I love how you write and love life. MORE please!
Your dad was my young life leader at South Seneca. I believe he started with my group. Wonder if he remembers me. If so, I would love to contact him. Your dad was very influential in my life and my Christian walk.
Lynn–this made me smile! I just sent him your email address. He’s a pretty amazing man.
Best “about me” that I’ve read in awhile. Just sayin’.
Haha! Thanks Leah 🙂 I like to keep it real.
Holly – I loved your tribute to your parents 30 year anniversary. I will enjoy following your amazing journey!
Thanks, Christie!!! If you scroll to the bottom of the blog, you can subscribe to get a notification when I post (I don’t always post them on Facebook). Miss you!
I just love that you have a Published Writings page. Yes, yes you do. You’re so awesome!
It was so exciting to find you on google since I don’t do facebook.’ Since I just found you today I haven’t had a chance to read any of your stories, but I have heard they are good. Can I find your stories any where else? Keep writing! Love, Aunt Doris
